Soft Fall Tablescape

I showed this design to my girls the other night and they went crazy over it. They are my little Artists/ Designers in training! I wanted to pull together this tablescape by using the colors from my pumpkins. I love these colors! I think a table scape with the pumpkins would be perfection. You need at least 4 to make it look right. The “soft fall” vibe is just so lovely, isn’t it? The candles are battery operated and they flicker. I also love the block print cotton napkins with the scallop detail. The bamboo silverware pulls the fall/ coastal/ chic look together. The water goblets would work well during any season - Christmas, Easter, summer, you name it!! Click the links below to shop!

“Soft Fall” Porch Palette

I am crazy about my new pumpkin palette! You have to buy a pair (or two) of these pumpkins! I am a sucker for blue and white but coral also has a very special place in my heart. These pumpkins look great on your front porch, or as a centerpiece Econ your dining room table, or scattered all around the house! I am loving the wreath with the brown and white gingham sash. Also the lanterns set a cozy mood as guests walk in through the front door. Another fun trend I’ve seen is layering your door mat - the orange gingham rug definitely tops off the fall vibes. Can be set out on the front porch through Thanksgiving! Happy Fall and have fun decorating friends! Tap on the links below to shop!

Fall Porch Re-fresh

It’s coming! Fall will be here soon and I am here for all of the magic that comes with this season! My “painterly pumpkins” work great on your porch or in your home. I love fall decor the most because you can keep it on display from September all the way through Thanksgiving. I am happy to take custom orders on my pumpkins but aren’t they looking pretty with these fab finds? They also mix in well with blue and white ginger jars, happiness jars or set the scene on your dining room table with a whole bushel of pumpkins! Send me those orders! Blue and White Bathroom Retreat

I have always been a sucker for blue and white. My Grandmother had a huge Blue Willow collection. She was my beacon for all things fashion and fabulous! The tissue box was created by request from my Mother. She is the most creative gal I know! I’ve sold quite a few since she gave me the idea! I love these scallop edge towels and hand towels. The draperies are a serious deal. The design on the draperies (I’m certain) was inspired by Quadrille‘s Bali Hai pattern. Classic and timeless. I added a few blue and white jars for cotton balls or soaps. The robe is totally spa-like with a microfiber shell and plush lining. Very cozy and comfy! Order your tissue box today! Custom coloration available! To shop: click the words under the photo…. Happy shopping!

Back to School Foyer Vibes

This foyer is giving fall “back to school vibes” all starting with my print you can download for $25! You only need a frame with a mat to complete the look - it really looks like original art! I love this light fixture. The scallop wicker console is simply fabulous. It comes in several colors as well. The “denim” oushak rug was just what I was looking for when I was designing this space. The red and white stripe ginger jars add a touch of whimsy. Of course I love a little touch of blue and white - this planter is perfection with the scallop edges. I found the faux orchid stems along with the leaves. All the rage right now! Add a little real moss around the leaves and no one will know your orchid is a “faux.” The peel and stick grass cloth helps the art pop. Get to shopping! College Girls Dorm Room Design

Dorm rooms have come SO FAR since I was in college. My roomie and I coordinated our bedding and had cute little valances in our dorm room but wow - nothing like what I see today. I am here for it! This painting would be SO great in your freshman dorm room, girlies! I pulled a few pillows from Etsy and that fabulous pink’ish rug pulls it all together. I love the blackout drapes also - an absolute must for college kids who need their Z’s! The XL twin bedding adds another layer of comfort. Shop below by clicking on the highlighted list of items on the room. Happy shopping!!!!

"Coastal Waters" Bar nook

This little nook is so pretty! A great spot by a window to read a book, or pop open a glass of champagne. Take a seat in a comfy club chair and gaze at this beautiful abstract painting (by moi:-). Add another chair and sit with a friend while you sip! The blackout drapes feature a tape trim down the centers. The rug is sisal and I love the unique style with the blue accents and scallop edges. The Fluted Bar cabinet adds that mid-century modern vibe I’m always attracted to. The battery operated lamp is extremely affordable currently 2 pack for $20. Great for bar areas and can be moved around easily. The green vintage looking champagne flutes add a fun touch. Voila!

"Les Touches" Bedroom

I fell in love with Brunschwig and Fils “Les Touches” fabric during my first job as an Interior Design assistant. It’s just so classic, yet adds a punch of subtle whimsy. It’s such a perfect fabric to add in to any space. My original art work is the inspiration for this design. I added the blackout lined draperies with that pretty blue tape trim down the centers. The blue velvet accent pillows with the greek key trim pull the colors from the painting in nicely. I love the peel and stick grass cloth. Wow - wallcoverings have seriously come so far! The art deco style bench at the end of the bed finishes up this design nicely. I added the leather “viral” bucket bag on top of the bench. This is the “it” bag all over tik tok at the moment. "Pieces of Blue" - Hallway or Entry way design

“Pieces of Blue” is featured in this hallway or entry way design. I love the green velvet chairs! They have a sleek, art deco vibe. I love to mix in traditional with contemporary styles of design so the garden stool adds a touch of the traditional. The blackout draperies feature a beautiful blue tape trim down the centers. Very well priced for a custom look! The peel and stick wallpaper finishes up the space and brings in the corals in the painting. The art light is battery operated and in the $30-$40 range. No wires! Swanky Summer Blues Living Room

"Summer Blues" is a living room design that captures the vibes of a serene summer day. Inspired by my original abstract artwork featuring soft washes of deep blues and subtle teal hues as well as delicate greens, this space blends tranquility with modern elegance. The walls are swathed in a light, muted blue grasscloth that complements the artwork's palette, creating a cohesive backdrop. The sofa is a “cloud sofa” = very affordable from Amazon. Reviews say it is uber comfy while also boasting minimalist with clean lines. Accents such as plush throw pillows and textured rugs incorporate varying shades of blue and sandy beige. The white linen, blackout lined draperies enhance the room's airy feel while giving that designer touch. Thoughtfully placed chinoiserie ginger jars and books further echo the timeless design. Overall, "Summer Blues" invites relaxation through a harmonious balance of color, texture, and original artistic inspiration.

Even though the Masters has more of a green and white aesthetic, I think these pink and green finds fit right in. Especially with he gorgeous pink azaleas that line the course. Check out this adorable purse! When I found it on amazon, I immediately thought about the Masters. The Iconic Barcelona Chair

I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Furnishings and Interiors. The absolute best degree they offer for gals like me! In one course, we were asked to draw the most iconic chairs in history and so I discovered my favorite chairs were from the Bauhaus period. A little about the Bauhaus movement. The Bauhaus school of design was created in Germany and only existed for 14 years from 1919-1933. It’s mission was to unite art and functional design. The ultimate goal was to create designs that were both functional and pleasing to the eye which is where the ideal, form follows function originated. The Barcelona chair was designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in conjunction with architect and Interior Designer, Lilly Reich. It is in my opinion, the best marriage of this school of thought. The chair is so sleek, yet very comfortable. It is likely the most commonly reproduced chair from this time period and is used in offices and homes alike. Personally, I love the idea of having a little fun with side chairs. The mix of traditional elements and contemporary designs brings a sense of unexpected originality to a space. Below are a few photos of Barcelona chairs on movie sets and in living rooms. I’ve linked a few options to purchase as well! This sight contains affiliate links. Serene Bedroom

This bedroom features my painting, “Emerge Freely.” The painting has a very serene vibe to it. I painted a top layer of cream over a very energetic underpainting. To me it looks as if you are peering into a vibrant world from an otherwise tranquil disposition. The lamps and rug are a soothing blue color. The draperies are blackout lined and sold a t a very reasonable price point. The bedding is gorgeous and also a very good price point. I added an art light. Art always looks best when it is lit properly. The side tables have an art deco look - I love curved sides. They add a lot of pizazz to this super “serene” bedroom! The bench has sleek lines and the comfy sherpa fabric is very inviting. The precious pup is not for sale but he sure looks like he fits right into this cozy bedroom! Enjoy shopping! Living Room a Deux

I was listening to a parenting podcast yesterday and the hosts were discussing the movie, the parent trap. One of my all time favs! I’m partial to the original with Haley Mills. I wanted to be her so badly. I begged my Mom to send me to camp when I was 7 so that I could meet my long lost twin! I just knew I’d meet her there. Little did I know, many moons later, I’d marry a twin and then have twin girls! Twins are the BEST!! I longed to be a twin as a child. I dressed up with my friends in matching clothes and we’d pretend to be twins. I really had an admiration as many people do, for twins! It has been a joy to watch my girls grow together and I have loved witnessing the “twin bond” they share and have shared from the minute they were born. I think my husband talked to his twin brother for at least an hour on the phone yesterday. It’s a magical thing and I am absolutely fascinated (and surrounded) by twins!

This room has several sets of “two” going on. The sofa is made with Italian leather. I’ve linked a less expensive option although this one is quite affordable for a leather sofa. I love the sleek black garden stools.the drapes have trim sewn on and are blackout lined! Love that blue color. The rug is washable. The painting is also available! Wink wink! Enjoy the view and cheers to all the twins in the world!

EASTER INSPIRED FOYER

I drove by a gorgeous Bradford Pear tree in my neighborhood yesterday and thought, I would love to do a spring green look! I have this adorable bunny painting I did a few years ago and it is the perfect little inspiration piece for my room. I usually put my bunny paining on display in our foyer each Easter season so I thought a foyer design would be a fun project during this almost spring/ St. Patick’s day coming/ Easter season time period we are in! Happy weekend and don’t forget to click the links below to shop! XOX

LITTLE GIRL ROOM TO BIG GIRL ROOM

This room was inspired by my latest painting, “Poolside Cabana.” This painting has been hanging in my twin girls bedroom ever since they were babies (they are 9 now). I have always wanted to change it here and there so this week I got to work zhuzh’ing it up! I am so much happier with the way it turned out! I found so many precious bedroom ideas on amazon. BLUE CHRISTMAS

All I want for Christmas is blue and white! I have always wanted to decorate our home in blue and white for Christmas. We already have a pretty hefty collection of blue and white in our home but I would love to take it up a notch and go all out. I adore blue, white and red together as well. It’s just so classic. To me, Christmas memories should be procured in a classic and traditional manner. Pull out all of your Grandmother’s blue willow and happiness jars, add some pretty red bows and do Christmas the blue and white way! Check out my inspo pics and a few shopping links to make your home sparkle in the coming season.
